Waste Treatment Technologies is a project office for the design, production and maintenance of parts, installations and projects for waste treatment facilities and regenerative energy; providing services and giving advice in the field of waste processing and regenerative energy. We own and operate a number of websites and offer related services in different countries. We refer to all these products, along with our other services and websites as “Services” in this policy. The headquarters of Waste Treatment Technologies has access to all mail contact between the customer, to issue invoices, for training purposes and to handle complaints.
Distribution to third parties
We may disclose the personal data provided to Waste Treatment Technologies to third parties if this is necessary for the purposes described above. For example, we use a third party for:

- Delivery of services / goods
The following third parties are necessary for the purposes described above, but in principle have no direct access to the personal data, but we do use their services to process the personal data.
- Taking care of an IT infrastructure – Deltics;
- Taking care of newsletters and surveys – MailChimp, Survey Monkey;
- Marketing purposes – Facebook, MailChimp; LinkedIn, Instagram, WeChat, Twitter, YouTube.
- Analyzing website visitors for website optimization (cannot be traced back to individual) – Hotjar, Google Analytics.
We naturally make clear contractual agreements with these third parties (processing agreement) to guarantee the security of personal data. Some of the third parties with whom we have a processing agreement are located in countries that may not have equivalent privacy and data protection legislation as the Netherlands. Because data transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract between the customer and the organization, as well as for pre-contractual steps taken at the request of the customer, Waste Treatment Technologies is exempt from the general prohibition of transfer of personal data outside the EU.
We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement. We will not provide the personal data provided to other parties unless this is legally required and / or permitted. We can also share personal data with third parties if we have been given written permission for this.
